Mimi's cafes are everywhere in California. I visited several in the past few years. Most recent encounter was in San Mateo, CA. I went there for breakfast on two occasions. Having gone twice tells that it must have been a good experience. There was no other appealing places in the vicinity where I was staying and I did not want to pay $13 for a hotel breakfast.
